Responsibilities:
The work undertaken at this level requires the application of intellectual initiative and technical
Judgment and involves the supervision of staff undertaking technical work.
Telecom Technicians provide high level technical support and guidance and are responsible for the technical quality of their teams’ output.
The Field Technician should have at least three years of direct work experience in the technology or area of expertise, a recognized diploma or certificate in the appropriate discipline, and at least five years of direct work experience in the telecommunications design and construction industry.
Work performed in this area will typically include a combination of activities and/or behaviours
exemplified by the following:
Provision of high level technical support;
Performance of and reporting on technical investigations;
Installation, Testing & Commissioning of telecommunications hardware, such as DC
Power, Monitoring Alarm, Wireline Transmission, Digital Radio Systems & Wireless
Mobile Cellular equipment;
Optic fibre testing/splicing and commissioning;
Responsibility for the quality and timely completion of construction activities;
Provision of information and assistance to staff;
Input of data to corporate databases and information systems;
As a member of a project design/construction team, responsibility for preparing detailed
designs, plan, drawings, estimates and quotes;
Performance of field inspections, including physical route definition and recording; and,
Liaison with installation staff, operations staff and local authorities.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate or Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Industrial), Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
Required language(s): English, Filipino
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Electronics/Communication or equivalent. Job role in Telecommunication Engineer or equivalent.
20 Full-Time and Contract position available.
