Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all back of the house operations and production.
- Responsible for maintaining a high standard of food quality and safety.
- Must effectively manage costs.
- Implements new procedures and policies in accordance with direction of Executive Chef.
- Monitors for compliance of procedures.
- Conducts interviews, hiring and performance evaluations for the back of the house.
- Works closely with front of the house to ensure quality of service and product.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
- Must be willing and able to relocate and live in an island
- 10+ years overall experience in the field with 3-5 years management level BOH experience, preferably upscale dining
- English proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Experience in managing food costs
- Culinary degree preferred but not required
- Experience in Chinese, Indonesian and Thai a plus
